5. Talk about your favorite season.
(What is your favorite season (spring, summer, winter or autumn)? / What’s the weather like during that season? / What do you often do during that season? / Why do you like it?).

Answers

Answer 1
My favorite season is winter! The weather is cold, yet ethereal because of the snow covering everything. If you hold out your hand, you could catch tiny, yet intricate snowflakes. In fact, it's so cold, breathing out could show your breath. I often built snowmen and snow castles, play snow ball, or just lay in the snow. Sometimes, I even sit inside with hot chocolate and just admire it (it gets too cold). I like it because I prefer cold weather over hot, I love having a reason to drink hot chocolate, and playing in the snow is enjoyable.
Answer 2
My favorite season is summer. I love summer. There is no school. It's warm. The sun sets late. You can sit on your balcony and drink a beer and barbecue. I just think it's fabulous. My least favorite then obviously is winter, because the sun goes down early, you can't go on your balcony and relax, it's freezing cold, and it's just not an enjoyable season at all.

Ratan's behavior reveals about her underlying motivation in this passage include option A: Ratan is unhappy because she knows the postmaster's successor will not be kind to her and will not treat her as a daughter.

What does Ratan's behavior reveal about her?

After listening to the stories of Postmaster's family, Ratan associated herself with them. She imagined herself as a part of his family.

In his stories, she listened about his house, his family members, some good moments and some bad. The postmaster would easily tell those stories to Ratan because he found a sense of homeliness in Ratan's attitude.

These were the stories that brought the postmaster closer to his family when he was living far from them. Ratan listened to them with patience and imaging those images vividly.

What is an Act?

A play's act is made up of components like increasing action, climax, and resolution. A curtain, a blackout, or a brief stage emptying separates one scene from the next and often symbolizes events occurring in one location at one time.

To be more precise, the exposition, which provides information and sets up the remainder of the tale, is one of the aspects that gives a play its storyline and divides it into acts. The inciting occurrence, which kicks off all the subsequent actions, is another component. Along with the triggering event, the play's central dramatic question develops and serves as the play's anchor. Complications dominate the play and alter the action for the most part.

Modern plays frequently just feature one level of structure, which the author may refer to as scenes or acts at their discretion. Some authors even do away with clear boundaries completely. The separation between acts has more to do with the piece's overall dramatic structure than with the fact that successive scenes are often isolated from one another in time or space.

"I saw a great many kindly acts done as we moved along," White would recall almost fondly. "The poor helped the rich, and the rich helped the poor (if anybody could be called rich at such a time) to get on with their loads. I heard of cartmen demanding one hundred and fifty dollars (in hand, of course) for carrying a single load. Very likely it was so, but those cases did not come under my own notice. It did come under my notice that some cartmen worked for whatever the sufferers felt able to pay, and one I knew worked with alacrity for nothing. It takes all sorts of people to make a great fire."
