Concordance is not a good source because it is an alphabetical compilation of words that are basically used for reference. A concordance while good for some forms of research may not be the best for a topic on the above research topic. For this type of research topic., the research will need an almanac that presents the current information about the subject.

An atlas might be useful in pointing out the location of the hometown. Weekly periodicals by a publishing source in the hometown will have good insight. Also, books by people who come from the home town or have had some experiences there will also be useful. So, Concordance is the odd one on the list. It is a book containing a list of words in alphabetical order and might not thus have a lot of information.
