Prayer and fasting: Lord Redesdale mentions that Buddhism's gods are not easily satisfied, and individuals are required to engage in prayer and fasting to gain their favor.
Mortification of the flesh: Lord Redesdale mentions the practice of mortifying the flesh, which refers to self-discipline and self-denial, such as abstaining from certain indulgences like wine, women, and favorite dishes.
Works and offerings: Lord Redesdale emphasizes that mere faith without works is not sufficient in Buddhism. Along with prayer and fasting, individuals are expected to make offerings to the gods. These offerings include votive tablets or monetary contributions for shrine or temple repairs.
Non-violence: Lord Redesdale mentions that Buddha dislikes life taking. Outside many temples, people sell small animals like sparrows, eels, carp, and tortoises. These animals are then released by worshippers as an act of honoring the deity and practicing non-violence.

English novelist H. G. Wells (1866–1966) wrote a morality story about greed and hypocrisy called "Brishers Treasure." It was republished in Twelve Stories and a Dream (1903) after initially appearing in The Strand Magazine in April 1899.

Answer:
Nepali and Indian language are seems to be closely related because these both languages are easy to learn and understand.. In my point view, in Nepal the kid which is about 5 to 6yeras old kid can easily spoke and understand indian language easily.
There are many languages in the world that are closely related to each other, but if we had to choose two that seem to be particularly closely related, we might choose Spanish and Portuguese. These two Romance languages both developed from Latin, and as a result, they share many similarities in vocabulary, grammar, and syntax.
One way to tell that Spanish and Portuguese are closely related is to look at their shared vocabulary. Many words in both languages have the same Latin roots, and while the words may have evolved slightly differently in each language, they still share a common ancestry. For example, the Spanish word for "love" is "amor," while the Portuguese word for "love" is "amor" as well.
Another way to see the close relationship between these two languages is to look at their grammar and syntax. Both languages use similar verb conjugations and have similar sentence structures, making it easy for speakers of one language to learn the other. In fact, many Spanish speakers find it relatively easy to learn Portuguese, and vice versa.
Of course, while Spanish and Portuguese are closely related, they are not identical. There are still many differences between the two languages, including differences in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. Nonetheless, the similarities between these two languages make them a fascinating pair to study and compare.

Students are to write a lively and energetic film review of either The Imitation Game or Remains of the Day, assessing the strengths and weaknesses in production, setting, thematic development, symbolism, and characterization. The main intent is analysis of a film text, not the book from which the film script was adapted, or comparison of the content of the film vs the book. The assumption is that each film has both literary and fictional aspects. Instructions:
1. Select one of the two films, based on your level of engagement with the plot and characters as well as issues. Keep in mind that The Imitation Game is based on the biography of a real person while The Remains of the Day is based on a postcolonial novel. Both are set in England. The genre of one may have greater appeal for you than the other.
2. The main source for this assignment is the film text. Additional research is not required, but if you decide to present materials from secondary sources, you must provide a list of references and in-text citations set up APA style. a. If you decide to draw on any reading you may have done about the film or the book behind it or the writers and artist involved, you must document those sources. b. Otherwise, the film is your only entry in the list of references. Remember that any impact other reviews or reviewers may have on your own writing or ideas, MUST be documented with in-text citations and must be included in the list of references.
3. Start with some free writing about what you liked and did not like in the film.
4. Keep coming back to the workplace themes you have already discussed in this course. The review needs to focus on ways in which the film is successful (or not) in presenting those issues (such as professionalism, conformity vs rebellion, gender roles, and personal life vs work life).
5. Take notes in which you group points under the headings: production, setting, thematic development, symbolism, and characterization.
6. Write a draft that provides general points about the film.
