I'll help the best I can.
Odysseus is considered an epic hero for his role as King of Ithaca, his participation in the war, and his journey home. A hero has some type of superhuman ability, such as intelligence, physical strength, or bravery: Odysseus was known for his ability to think himself out of tough situations.
Odysseus is not a hero based on the standards of merciful, selfless, and gentle because of his actions of sacrificing his men, killing the suitors and being ruthless throughout the Odyssey. A hero must be willing to do service for others and put the needs of others safety and protection before his own.
Odysseus demonstrates heroic, god-like qualities throughout The Odyssey. In one instance, he cleverly tricks and blinds the Cyclops Polyphemus, saving his crew from certain death. Odysseus also bravely travels to Hades to learn his fate.
In a way, Odysseus is a hero with strength, wits, and cunning who dominates the largest beasts the planet has to offer. However, he is also a villain; he intrudes and assaults helpless creatures and also he returns home expecting his wife Penelope not to have cheated on him while he was gone.
I hope this information will help you!
If you want to put this more in your own words, I would do so. So first, you must know how to write an argumentive essay.
How to write your essay:
Write your Introductory paragraph. The first paragraph of your essay should outline the topic, provide background information necessary to understand your argument, outline the evidence you will present and states your thesis.
The thesis statement.
Write your Body paragraphs.
Write your Conclusion.
Example:
Introduction/thesis: A Homeric epic hero is thought to be above a normal human being. The traits of an epic hero are strength, loyalty, courage, and intelligence. In fact, the Macmillan Dictionary for Students defines a hero as "one who is admired and looked up to for valour, achievements, and noble qualities" (483). Odysseus fulfills all of the requirements for an epic hero and more.
Body Paragraph Idea: An important trait that an epic hero must have is intelligence. Odysseus's quick thinking, combined with his eloquence in speech and many other characteristics, has gotten him and his crew out of many tight situations. One situation, for example, was when Odysseus and his men were trapped in the Cyclops Polyphemos's cave. Although Odysseus's curiosity was what landed him into the situation in the first place, his masterful demonstrations of his articulation in speaking were what eventually helped him escape. He manages to win over Polyphemos in the story with a few well-spoken words and an offering:
"'Kyklops, try some wine. / Here's liquor to wash down your scraps of men. / Taste it, and see the kind of drink we carried / under our planks. I meant it as an offering / if you would help us home. But you are mad, / unbearable, a bloody monster! After this, / will any other traveler come to see you?'' (Homer 155)'
Conclusion: Odysseus completely demonstrates all of the main characteristics of a Homeric hero. His strength, intelligence, and guile all serve him well when he is in struggling to get out of a certain situation. Odysseus's loyalty is depicted throughout the whole poem, and his desperate need to see his home again is what pushed him forward in his journey home. Without all these qualities, Odysseus would not be considered a hero. However, because Odysseus manages to superbly display his heroic qualities in everything he does, he is considered to be one of the greatest epic heroes ever created.

Lexie didn’t know what to do. The movie adaptation of her favorite book was opening on Friday, and Lexie and her friends Tina and Jess were planning on being at the 7:00 p.m. show. For weeks, they had talked about the night –what they’d wear, how they’d get there, even where they’d sit in the theater. Lexie couldn’t wait!
Until she arrived home from school on Friday afternoon, that is. Her mom greeted her at the door. “Guess what?” she said. “Your little brother made the finals of the spelling bee! The championship is tonight.”
Tonight? Lexie knew how hard Sammy had worked to make the finals, and she was proud of him—but celebrating his big moment would mean missing a night she’d looked forward to for weeks!
“Skip it,” Tina advised when Lexie called her later. “They’ll probably put a video of it online—you can watch it then.” That was true, but it still wasn’t the same as being there to cheer on her brother in person.
PLS HELP ME
Despite Tina's advice to forgo it, Lexie couldn't help but believe that her brother would be very disappointed in her and her parents if she missed his spelling bee.
What conflict satisfyingly and to use details? She spent a half-hour going over her list of advantages and disadvantages before calling Tina to let her know that even so. Since she believed that her family should always come before friends, she genuinely wanted to attend the performance with them.
When Jess heard the news, she was disappointed but accepted Lexie's choice because Tina entirely understood.
When Lexie and their parents arrived to the spelling bee competition, her brother's face immediately lit up with sheer enthusiasm and joy. This was a wise choice.
Therefore, while supporting her brother, Lexie had some thoughts. Her brother won the competition, and everyone went out to celebrate.

Explanation:
In 1870 Nathaniel P. Langford and General Henry D. Washburn, escorted by U.S. Army captain Gustavus C. Doane, set out on a journey through the wilderness of northwestern Wyoming to explore the economic potential of the land. In the third week of September, nearly a month into the adventure, Langford gave name to what later became Yellowstone National Park’s most famous natural feature: Old Faithful geyser.
The Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition began on Aug. 22, 1870, and within days, it was evident to the explorers that they were in a wild land unlike any other in the United States. In an article titled “The Wonders of Yellowstone,” published in Scribner’s Magazine, Langford later wrote of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River:
“A grander scene than the lower cataract of the Yellowstone was never witnessed by mortal eyes…It is a sheer, compact, solid, perpendicular sheet, faultless in all the elements of grandeur and picturesque beauties.”
Langford’s sentiments of the region echoed those expressed by Charles W. Cook, David E. Folsom, and William Peterson, who in 1869 became the first to venture into the Great Geyser Basin of the Yellowstone River area. In the lower portion of the basin, these three ambitious explorers watched as Great Fountain Geyser erupted, sending a burst of steaming water splashing into the sky. Cook said of that moment: “We could not contain our enthusiasm; with one accord we all took off our hats and yelled with all our might.” They didn’t know it, but Cook, Folsom, and Peterson were standing in the midst of what is now recognized as the world’s largest concentration of geysers—500, of varying size and explosiveness, have been identified within the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park.
The reports by Cook, Folsom, and Peterson of the wild depths of Yellowstone inspired the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition. Following the latter exploration, it was concluded that the region offered little promise for business and economic growth. This, along with reports and articles describing Yellowstone’s unusual and fascinating natural features, led to increased in interest in simply setting the land aside in a national park.
Yellowstone National Park was established on March 1, 1872, with Langford serving as its first superintendent. Langford promoted the value and natural beauty of the area, generally in defense against criticism that Yellowstone was unattractive and not amenable to easy visitation, given its remote location and vast area, encompassing some 3,468 square miles (8,983 square km). Old Faithful eventually emerged as one of Yellowstone’s most promoted features. Having earned its name for its routine eruption, nearly once an hour in Langford’s time, Old Faithful was a dependable and stunning attraction.
Old Faithful is a cone geyser, consisting of a mound of siliceous sinter (geyserite). It is now known to erupt at intervals ranging from 33 to 120 minutes. The precise length of time from one eruption to the next is determined by each eruption’s duration. According to statistics kept by naturalists at Yellowstone, eruptions lasting less than 2.5 minutes typically result in intervals averaging about 65 minutes, whereas eruptions lasting longer than 2.5 minutes produce intervals averaging about 92 minutes.
On the scale of geologic time marking Old Faithful’s existence, the geyser’s eruptions are about as regular and predictable as they come. Sitting around an extra 30 or so minutes while the old vent recovers from an eruption of long duration is well worth the wait—several thousand gallons of steaming hot water jetting upward, into the backdrop of the Montana sky, is an unforgettable sight.

The importance of this Bridge in its far-reaching effects at once entices and baffles the imagination. At either end of the Bridge lies a great city – cities full of vigorous life. The activities and the energies of each flow over into the other. The electric current has conveyed unchecked between the two the interchanging thoughts, but the rapid river has ever bidden halt to the foot of man. It is as though the population of these cities had been brought down to the river-side, year after year, there to be taught patience; and as though, in this Bridge, after these many years, patience had had her perfect work. The ardent merchant, the busy lawyer, the impatient traveler – all, without distinction and without exception – at the river have been told to wait. No one can compute the loss of time ensuing daily from delays at the ferries to the multitudes crossing the stream. And time is not only money – it is opportunity. Brooklyn becomes available, henceforth, as a place of residence to thousands, to whom the ability to reach their places of business without interruption from fog and ice is of paramount importance. To all Brooklyn's present citizens a distinct boon is given. —Opening Ceremonies of the New York and Brooklyn Bridge, Seth Low.
