all school should have a " no tech day "
[ too much use of mobile -- tabs etc -- harmfu -- no time for friend , family , hobbies , creativity -- iinstead read book -- play outdoors -- play board games -- talk to family and friends]
Today, I am here to talk about the importance of having a "No Tech Day" in our schools. Technology and gadgets have become an integral part of our lives.
But too much use of mobile phones, tabs, computers, etc can be harmful. Instead of spending time with family, friends and doing leisure activities, children are glued to their screens. We need to encourage them to put down their phones and tablets and instead pick up a book, play outdoors, play board games or talk to their family and friends. A "No Tech Day" will help kids develop their creativity and social skills. It will also help them to bond with their family, friends and peers. It will help them to have more meaningful conversations and develop better relationships. Having a "No Tech Day" in our schools will also help reduce stress levels and enhance overall wellbeing. It will also encourage children to explore their environment and learn something new. I strongly believe that having a "No Tech Day" in our schools is important for the intellectual, social and emotional development of our children. Thank you.

Answer:
In Robert Frost's poem, "We Grow Accustomed to the Dark," one of the themes is that of acceptance and resilience. Throughout the poem, Frost uses the metaphor of darkness to represent difficult changes in life, such as loss, grief and fear. He suggests that, while these changes can be difficult to endure, they can also lead to growth and strength.
The poem begins with the line "We grow accustomed to the Dark," which serves as a reminder that we learn to accept and overcome the hardships in life. Frost further develops this theme in the lines "When light is put away/ As when the Neighbor holds the Lamp/ To witness her Goodbye." Here, he suggests that even when faced with a difficult situation such as a loved one leaving, we can learn to accept the change and move forward.
The poem ends with the lines "And not to need the light of the Lamp/ We see the Lord accept us, just/ As we accept Him, in the Dark." This serves to further emphasize the theme of acceptance and resilience. Frost implies that, despite the darkness and hardships in life, we can learn to accept them and find strength in the experience.
Overall, "We Grow Accustomed to the Dark" highlights one of the themes of acceptance and resilience, suggesting that even in the darkness, we can learn to accept our hardships and find strength in the process.

plagiarism isnt cool (but ill still let you do it)
Explanation:
One of the main themes in Emily Dickinson's poem "We Grow Accustomed to the Dark" is the idea that darkness can be both frightening and comforting, and that humans have the ability to adapt to difficult situations. The poem explores the psychological effects of darkness and the way that people react to it over time.
Throughout the poem, Dickinson uses metaphors and imagery to convey the theme of growing accustomed to darkness. For example, she describes the darkness as a "closet fit" that people must learn to navigate, and compares it to the "bravest" person who must learn to live with fear. The metaphor of darkness as a closet suggests that it can be a place of confinement and discomfort, but also one of protection and safety.
The poem also suggests that people have the ability to adapt to difficult situations, even if they seem overwhelming at first. Dickinson writes, "And so of larger, darknesses / Those evenings of the brain / When not a moon disclose a sign / Or star come out, within." This suggests that even in the most difficult and trying times, humans have the ability to find their way and make sense of their surroundings.
In conclusion, "We Grow Accustomed to the Dark" is a poem that explores the psychological effects of darkness and the way that humans adapt to difficult situations. Through the use of metaphors and imagery, Dickinson conveys the idea that darkness can be both frightening and comforting, and that humans have the ability to navigate even the most challenging of circumstances.

Describe, in your own words, how Petrarch employs metaphor to express his ideas of unattainable love. Use examples
from the text to support your argument. Your answer should be at least 250 words. PLEASE ANSWER ASAP IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE TO BE 250 WORDS JUST A GOOD AMOUNT
Answer: Petrarch was a famous Italian poet who lived in the 14th century. He is known for his sonnets, many of which express his ideas of unattainable love through the use of metaphor. In his poetry, Petrarch employs metaphors to create a powerful and emotional connection with his audience and to convey the complexities of his feelings towards his beloved.
One of the key metaphors that Petrarch uses is that of a climb or ascent. He often describes his love for his beloved as a journey up a mountain, where the peak represents his ultimate goal of achieving her love. However, he also acknowledges that this goal is unattainable, as he is repeatedly hindered by obstacles such as fear, doubt, and temptation. For example, in his sonnet "Ascent of Mont Ventoux," Petrarch writes: "I climbed the mountain, but my mind was elsewhere." This metaphor serves to convey the idea that his thoughts are constantly focused on his beloved, even as he faces challenges in his physical and emotional journey.
Another key metaphor that Petrarch employs is that of a flame. He describes his love as a burning fire that consumes him and provides both light and warmth, but also causes pain and suffering. This metaphor serves to highlight the intensity of his feelings and the conflicting emotions that they evoke. For example, in his sonnet "The Love That Fills My Heart," Petrarch writes: "The love that fills my heart consumes me and tears me apart." This metaphor is a powerful expression of the pain and turmoil that he experiences as a result of his unrequited love.
Finally, Petrarch also uses the metaphor of a prisoner to convey the idea that his love is something that confines and controls him, even as it provides him with comfort and joy. This metaphor serves to highlight the paradox of his feelings and the complex nature of his relationship with his beloved. For example, in his sonnet "Love is My Prison," Petrarch writes: "Love is my prison, and yet it sets me free." This metaphor serves to capture the conflicting emotions that he experiences as a result of his love, and to express the idea that his love is both a source of comfort and a source of pain.
In conclusion, Petrarch's use of metaphor is a key component of his expression of unattainable love. Through his use of the climb, flame, and prisoner metaphors, he is able to convey the complexities of his feelings and the paradox of his relationship with his beloved. These metaphors serve to connect with his audience on an emotional level and to create a powerful and lasting impact.

Eleni has learned to not make friends and confide in others because what's the point if she's going to move again. Yet things change when her dad decided to retire. They settle on moving to the country where life is much different. The one thing crossing Eleni's mind is how is she going to make friends when she doesn't know how? She has always dreamed of the perfect life. Having long term friends, a permanent home, and for once attending the same school 3 years in a row. However, after the first week of moving to the new town her dreams are crushed. Her parents don't have enough money to buy a house so they are forced to live with her great-grandmother, she's struggling in school because the classes are much harder than she anticipated, and she's having trouble making friends. All of these things have contributed to her falling into a deep depression. That is until she decides to get a tutor to help bring her grades back up. Her tutor is hilarious and kinder than she anticipated (we'll call her Blake) so they end up becoming very close friends. For weeks they've been the best of friends, making sure to do everything together. One day Eleni makes a joke about a homeless person on the street, but Blake doesn't find it funny. This is because Blake is actually in foster care so she understands what its like to struggle in life. Eleni realizes how fortunate she is and how inconsiderate she had been for complaining about her problems. Blake shows Eleni how you shouldn't take life for granted and must always live to the fullest despite the bad situations. Blake later dies after being hit by a truck driver late at night, leaving Eleni with the memory of what true happiness is.
