Answer for question 1: Last table.

Step-by-step explanation: The answer is not the top 2 because the y-intercept is plus 5 not minus 5. Let us now look at the bottom two and calculate if the slope is equal to -2. (Second to last table) 13-9/4-2= 4/2=2. This does not equal -2. Let us look at the last one. 13-17/4-2= -4/2= -2. The last one is the correct answer because it has the y-intercept of 5 and the slope of -2.

Answer for question 2: 4

Explanation: The rate of change formula is y1-y2/x1-x2. Let us take 16-8/1-1/2. This is equal to 4 because 16-8 is 8 and 1-1/2 is 1/2. 8 divided by 1/2 is 4.

Lin’s class has also adopted some sections of highway to keep clean. If 1 1/2 sections are 3/4 mile long, how long is each section?

What is Unitary Method?

The unitary technique involves first determining the value of a single unit, followed by the value of the necessary number of units.

For example, Let's say Ram spends 36 Rs. for a dozen (12) bananas.

12 bananas will set you back 36 Rs. 1 banana costs 36 x 12 = 3 Rupees.

As a result, one banana costs three rupees. Let's say we need to calculate the price of 15 bananas.

This may be done as follows: 15 bananas cost 3 rupees each; 15 units cost 45 rupees.

Given:

If 1 1/2 (3/ 2) sections are 3/4 mile long.

So, in one section = 3/4 ÷ ( 3/2)

                               = 3/4 x 2/3

                               = 2/3

Hence, In each section 2/3 miles is covered.

A scale of a new building was created for approval by the city council. The scale of the model is 5 inches = 24 feet. If the model is 5 feet tall, how tall is the actual building

Answers

Answer:

288

Step-by-step explanation:

5 feet = 60 inches

60/5 = 12

12*24= 288

288

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because you you multiply 5 times 12 because there is 5 feet and 12 inches a foot. That =60 then 5 fits in 60 twelve times so that mean you multiply 12 by 24 because you multiply the inches by how tall the building actually is.

Find the slope
Can someone please explain how to do this I don't really understand please and thank you

Answers

I have no idea 149 I think lol
Alright I haven’t done this in a while but I’ll try.

When doing slope you always want to do rise over run. Slope= y2-y1/ x2- x1.

So what you want to do is find your two pretty points on the graph! Meaning where the point is exactly on those little corners!

So if we start you can see you rise 2 spaces up before you’re vertical to your next pretty point. Next you want to RUN to the next one which would give you 4!

This being said you’re slope is 2/4 but you want to make sure you simplify if you can! In this case you can do it’ll give 1/2!

Again I haven’t done this in a while and I apologize if this is wrong! Hope this helps!
