Explain Organic farming in detail.

Answers

Answer 1

Organic farming is a practice that entails the natural growing of plants and the raising of animals. In order to maintain soil fertility and ecological balance and reduce waste and pollution, this procedure uses organic components instead of synthetic ones. In other terms, organic farming refers to a farming technique that forgoes the use of pesticides and fertilizers that have a synthetic foundation. Genetically engineered species are also not allowed. It is based on agricultural practices that are ecologically balanced, such as crop rotation, the use of green manure, organic waste, biological pest management, and the addition of minerals and rocks. Pesticides and fertilizers are used in organic farming if they are regarded as natural, but different petrochemical fertilizers and pesticides are avoided. The main advantage of organic farming is that it restores soil nutrition. Excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides causes an imbalance in soil nutrition, which reduces soil fertility and renders land unsuitable for agricultural growth. Chemical fertilizers also deteriorate water tables. Currently, the majority of industrialized nations throughout the world have come to adopt organic farming. Not only are non-biodegradable materials minimized in organic farming, but we may also employ biodegradable products and assist the government in waste management. Additionally, everyone who has a place close to their home can utilize a kitchen garden, which can be quite beneficial. These are the latest techniques for organic farming that are currently being developed and may be used for improved production at no cost.

Option A is the correct answer.

What is the standard deviation?

The standard deviation is the indicator to determine the variation between the set of amounts as given in the statistical information.

The population is referred to as the entire information being prescribed in data relating to any concept. If the number of samples in a population is 10, then the samples in the same population will also be 10. This shows the number of samples is always equal to the samples in the same population.

Triangle PQR has right angle Q. If sin R = 4/5
what is the value of tan P?

Answers

By applying Pythagorean' theorem, the value of tanP is equal to 3/4.

How to determine the value of tan P?

Since triangle PQR has right-angle Q and sinR = 4/5, we have:

sinR = Opp/hyp = 4/5

tanP = Opp/Adj = QR/4

Next, we would determine the length of QR by applying Pythagorean' theorem:

PR² = QR² + PQ²

5² = QR² + 4²

25 = QR² + 16

QR² = 25 - 18

QR = √9

QR = 3 units.

For the value of tanP, we have:

tanP = 3/4.

John bought 15 pines for $3500
determine how much he needs to sell
one pine for to ensure an overall 40%
profit

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

If John needs to ensure a 40% profit, John needs to sell the pines at a price that would give 40% more money back than he spent.

Since John needs to make back all of the money he spent, plus another 40%, John needs to get back 140% of what he spent.

[tex]140\% = 1.40[/tex]

John spent $3500.

140% of $3500 is $4900.

So, John must bring in $4900 (revenue) selling all 15 pines to achieve a 40% profit.

However, the question asks for the price of a single pine.  To find the unit price of a single pine, divide the total revenue by 15.

[tex]\frac{\$4900}{15pines}=\frac{\$326.\bar{6}}{pine}=\$326.66 \text{ per pine}[/tex]

A balloon takes 1 minute to rise 60 feet in the air. each minute after that, the balloon rises 40% as far as it did the previous minute. which equation represents the total distance, d, in feet that the balloon rises in 6 minutes?

Answers

The equation represents the total distance, d, in feet that the balloon rises in 6 minutes [tex]d=\frac{60(1-0.4^6)}{1-0.4}[/tex].

Given that a balloon takes 1 min to rise 60 feet in the air each min after that it rises 40% as far as the previous minute

So it second minute it rises 40% x 60 feet (60 x 0.4)= 24 feet in 3rd minute it rises 40% x 24 feet = (24x0.4) = (60x0.42) feet

So in n-th minute it rises (60 x [tex]0.4^{n-1}[/tex]) feet

So total height d in n- minutes will be

d =  60 + (60 × 0.4) + (60 × 0.4²) + ... + (60 x 0.4"-1)

  = 60[1 + 0.4 + 0.4² + ... + 0.4" 1]

  [tex]=60 \times \frac{1-0.4^n}{1-0.4}[/tex]

here n=6

So it will rise to

[tex]d=\frac{60(1-0.4^6)}{1-0.4}[/tex]

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

(a. The independent variable is 40x. Independent variable: Not influenced by the changing of other factors, can be denoted by x

(b. The dependent  variable is 70; it has no x values with it.

(C. the y intercept is 70, because again, it has no x besides it , and also, with the formula y=mx+b, b has to just be a number.

(d. The slope is 40 because its placed where the "m" is in the formula.

y=mx+b

y= SLOPEx+ y intercept

slope times x  plus the y intercept

m= slope

b= y intercept

Hope this helps :)) Brainliest  would be appreciated as i put some effort into this thanks :D

hi just wanted to fix some things from the previous answer:

the independent variable is the quantity that changes independently and is the value that controls the change in the dependent variable. 40x is a term that includes the independent variable, but it is wrong to say that it is the independent variable. the independant variable actually is hours, since when we change the amount of hours (x), we therefore change the outcome of the equation. the independent variable is always denoted by a single variable.

for the dependent variable, it is the value that change ls because of the change in the independent variable. in this case, dollars (y) is the quantity that changes because of the change in "x".

and just because a number does not have x attached to it does not mean to that it is the y intercept, but in this case, you are correct in the fact that 70 does happen to be the y-intercept, but a number is only a y-intercept when x is set to zero in an equation and then the equation is evaluated.

thirdly, you are correct on the slope because it is the coefficient of x in a linear equation, therefore making it the slope.

in the slope intercept form for a linear equation (y = mx + b), y is the dependent variable, m is the slope, x is the independent variable (not mx) and, and the y-intercept is b

so dependent is dollars (y), the slope is 40 (m), the independent is time (x), and the y-intercept is 70 (b).
